The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining environmental and workplace safety programs within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting safe work practices, and helping create a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs
  • Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections of facilities
  • Identify safety hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed
  • Assist with maintaining and updating safety policies and procedures
  • Lead or support safety training for employees
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents and recommend preventive actions
  • Track and maintain safety documentation and records
  • Work with Workers’ Compensation and safety partners as needed
  • Support compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of OSHA and general EHS regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of an organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations
  • Experience conducting safety training and audits

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing / industrial environment
  • Regular time spent on the shop floor
  • May require travel between nearby facilities
