Deputy Manager – Corporate Sustainability

Location : Bangalore

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic sustainability and technology professional to lead the digital transformation of ESG and sustainability processes. The role will bridge Sustainability, Technology, Data, Product Management and Business teams to build scalable digital solutions for ESG data management, reporting, analytics and sustainability performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

ESG & Sustainability Technology:

• Lead digitization of ESG and sustainability data collection, validation, calculation and reporting processes.
• Translate sustainability requirements into technology-enabled solutions and business requirements.
• Support digital solutions for GHG emissions, Scope 1, 2 & 3, energy, water, waste, packaging, product sustainability and supplier ESG data.
• Drive automation and improvement of ESG data quality, traceability and reporting.
• Work closely with Sustainability, IT, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Business teams.
• Own ESG technology products/platforms from requirement gathering through development, UAT, deployment and continuous improvement.
• Prepare BRDs, user stories, process flows, product roadmaps and functional requirements.
• Manage Agile delivery using tools such as JIRA, Confluence and related project management platforms.
• Coordinate with technology teams, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and enhance ESG dashboards, KPI tracking and management reporting using tools such as Power BI.
• Establish data governance, validation mechanisms and controls for sustainability data.
• Support ESG reporting requirements aligned with frameworks and standards such as GRI, BRSR, ISSB and GHG Protocol.
• Identify opportunities for automation, AI/OCR and data analytics across ESG processes.
• Evaluate and implement ESG technology solutions and SaaS platforms.
• Drive process standardization and scalability across business units, factories, offices, stores and supply-chain stakeholders.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related discipline.

MBA / Master's degree in Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Management, Business or related field preferred.
