Job Title: Licensed Electrical Engineer – Multi-Family Residential and Commercial Design

Location: Southern California

Position Type: Full-Time

Adept is an interdisciplinary development, design and construction group located in Pasadena CA. https://www.adepturban.com. Our practice has evolved over 25 years with projects throughout Southern California. Through our in-house design, development, and construction teams, we manage and construct projects from inception to completion both internally, and via third-party entities, and it is this unique capability that has provided us the flexibility to create our own innovative and site sensitive work. Typically, our practice focuses on large-scale multi-family housing as an integral component of mixed-use and transit-oriented development, though we also specialize in the sustainable adaptive reuse of office buildings into thoughtful new living environments. Our expertise also extends to assisted living senior care and medical/research office developments, and, more recently, entertainment and commercial work in conjunction with, or as a catalyst for, new mixed-use housing.

We are evolving toward a more integrated workflow, as well as a standardized efficient approach to development, which will allow us to become less dependent on external consultants. As we continue to leverage BIM connectivity between development, planning, design and construction, electrical expertise has become a particular factor in our ability to streamline development. The necessity to work with local service providers, anticipate building loads, and secure delivery of service with minimal delay has become crucial. As a development group, integrating such expertise will help us achieve tighter control over budgeting during design and control costs over the life of the development.
