Responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical engineering and design activities for utility-scale BESS projects.
  • Develop electrical system architecture, SLDs, protection schemes, and power distribution layouts.
  • Perform electrical equipment selection including transformers, switchgear, breakers, cables, protection relays, and auxiliary systems.
  • Coordinate with EMS, PCS, SCADA, Mechanical, Civil, and Commissioning teams for project execution.
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and vendor documents.
  • Conduct power system studies including:
    • Load Flow Analysis
    • Short Circuit Analysis
    • Harmonic Analysis
    • Earthing Studies
    • Protection Coordination Studies
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC, and Utility/Grid standards.
  • Support procurement activities through technical bid evaluation and vendor qualification.
  • Lead FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and performance validation activities.
  • Provide technical support during project execution and troubleshooting.
  • Drive engineering optimization for cost, reliability, safety, and performance improvements.
Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
  • M.Tech in Power Systems/Electrical Engineering preferred
