AD Energy Recruitment is partnering with a Renewable Natural Gas platform to appoint a Plant Manager for an operational landfill gas-to-RNG facility in Corsicana, Texas.
This is a senior, site-based leadership role with full operational accountability for a live, revenue-generating energy asset. The Plant Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for plant performance, safety, compliance, maintenance strategy, and team leadership.
This is not a back-office management role — this is hands-on leadership at the front line of critical renewable infrastructure.
The Opportunity
As Plant Manager, you will take full ownership of daily operations across landfill gas collection, compression, treatment, and upgrading systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the plant operates safely, reliably, and profitably while maintaining strong relationships with local stakeholders, including the City of Corsicana.
You will set the operational culture on site — driving safety standards, performance expectations, and accountability across all plant personnel.
Core Responsibilities
- Full operational responsibility for the RNG facility
- Lead, develop, and manage plant operators and site personnel
- Drive safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance at all times
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Maximise plant uptime, efficiency, and gas production output
- Manage mechanical, electrical, and control systems performance
- Oversee compressor systems and landfill gas treatment infrastructure
- Maintain inventory strategy for critical spare parts and consumables
- Act as the primary on-site liaison with municipal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Manage reporting, site documentation, and operational KPIs
Technical & Leadership Profile
We are keen to speak with Plant Managers who bring:
- Proven experience managing industrial, energy, landfill gas, RNG, wastewater, or similar process facilities
- Strong understanding of landfill gas collection, compression, and treatment systems
- Demonstrated experience overseeing mechanical and electrical plant operations
- Familiarity with PLC-based control systems and process automation
- Experience managing teams within a 24/7 operational environment
- Strong safety leadership in regulated industrial settings
- Commercial awareness and accountability for plant performance
