About the Role
We are seeking hands-on Area Foremen to lead in-house crews and remote technicians on EV charging projects. This is not a desk role youll be in the field, setting pace, driving quality, solving problems, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.
The ideal candidate is an experienced foreman or general foreman from a large commercial or industrial contractor whos ready to step into a role where leadership and field expertise truly matter. Here, you wont be one of many youll be a big fish in a growing pond, with direct influence on our projects and our expansion.
Responsibilities
Lead, schedule, and supervise in-house electricians and remote install teams across multiple projects.
Provide hands-on field leadership and training ensuring conduit, wire pulls, panels, and equipment installs are executed correctly and efficiently.
Oversee installation of:
Commercial Level 3 EV Chargers (Tesla Superchargers and similar)
Level 2 Commercial EVSE (multifamily, retail, fleet, etc.)
Residential Level 2 chargers
Track daily progress, manage materials, and report updates to project management.
Train and mentor junior technicians to raise crew quality.
Enforce company safety program and OSHA compliance.
Coordinate inspections, permitting, and utility interactions.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective field solutions.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience; journeyman or master license preferred.
Proven track record as a foreman/general foreman, running crews of 6 20 electricians on projects valued at $1 4 million annually.
Strong knowledge of NEC, grounding/bonding, feeders, and distribution equipment.
Ability to read engineered plans and coordinate with project managers.
Comfortable with both hands-on installation and crew supervision.
EVITP Certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
