We are growing our team and looking for qualified electricians who want secure, varied work with the opportunity to move into heat pumps, renewable energy and whole-home retrofit.

This is a permanent, field-based role supported by our Carrickmacross operation. You will receive a company vehicle and fuel card, with travel arrangements, typical working area and overtime details confirmed during the recruitment process.

About This Role
About the Role
- The successful candidate will complete electrical work for domestic heat-pump and retrofit installations, working closely with heating engineers, plumbers and the wider operations team. This is a permanent, full-time, field-based role with Monday-to-Friday working, paid overtime where required, and training available for experienced domestic electricians who want to build specialist renewable-
- Previous heat-pump experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Training can be provided for experienced domestic electricians who want to develop in renewable energy and home retrofit.
- Complete electrical installations associated with domestic heat-pump and retrofit systems.
- Install power supplies, isolators and associated electrical components.
- Carry out consumer-unit upgrades where required.
- Test, commission and verify completed electrical work.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in domestic settings.
- Support heat-pump servicing, repair and maintenance work.
- Work closely with heating engineers, plumbers and the wider retrofit team.
- Provide a professional, respectful service in customers’ homes.
- Complete all required job records, testing documentation and certification.
- Ensure work meets Safe Electric requirements, applicable electrical standards and SEAI codes of practice.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
- Fully qualified electrician.
- Residential electrical experience in the Irish market.
- Good knowledge of Irish electrical standards and safe working practices.
- Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional and respectful approach when working in customers’ homes.
- Experience in heat pumps, home retrofit, solar PV or other renewable technologies would be an advantage but is not essential.
- A Test and Verification qualification would also be an advantage.
