Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager (Mechanical Engineer) Job Description We are seeking a Project Manager with a background in Mechanical Engineering to lead capital projects ranging from $50K to $300K. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on project management experience in a structured capital project environment. You will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage capital projects from initiation through close-out, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, operations, and external vendors.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Track project performance and report progress to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage change control and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process.
- Project management experience managing projects from start to finish, especially capital projects valued at $50K-$300K.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and document control processes.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
