Job Title: Plant Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Project Manager to oversee our plant's capital project portfolio, conduct feasibility studies, and manage the introduction of new products and processes. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with OSHA VPP Star and PSM standards while leading safety projects and audits. This role is pivotal in driving cost reduction initiatives and process improvements, bridging operations, engineering, finance, and corporate leadership to align project priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the plant's capital project portfolio (CapEx), including feasibility studies and new product/process introductions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA VPP Star and PSM standards.
- Lead safety projects and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and corporate leadership to align project priorities.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience in operations management and project management.
- Proven ability to manage capital project portfolios (CapEx).
- Strong expertise in conducting feasibility studies and introducing new products/processes.
- Chemical Engineering degree.
- 8-10+ years in chemical/process manufacturing leadership.
- Direct people leadership experience.
- Strong project management experience in manufacturing settings.
- Expertise in PSM and environmental compliance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent management skills.
- Ability to effectively bridge operations, engineering, finance, and corporate leadership.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Spartanburg, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
PTO/Holiday, 401K, Relocation Package
