Senior Project Manager (CONSTRUCTION) Job Description Join our team as an experienced Senior Project Manager, where you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the utmost quality and safety. You will oversee and be accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Responsibilities
- Manage a single large complex project or multiple smaller projects, serving as the primary point of contact during construction.
- Collaborate with Solutions Executives during Project Development to review project constructability and risk, develop construction pricing, and prepare construction schedules.
- Assist with developing project delivery strategies.
- Manage budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, and other financial aspects of the project.
- Participate in project meetings with internal departments.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure the scope and direction of the project is on schedule.
- Set objectives and make decisions on critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.
- Consult with supervisors concerning unusual problems and provide leadership to the project team to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met.
- Train and mentor less-experienced team members and may manage direct reports, including performance coaching and hiring.
- Project management
- Experience in Electrical, Construction, Energy efficiency, and Energy management
- Financial analysis skills
- Minimum 10 years' experience, including construction team management
- Strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, and water systems
- Ability to read and translate blueprints
- Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong public speaking ability
- Strong knowledge of building construction processes and methods, building codes and permitting
- Strong computer skills, including ERP and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel and Microsoft Project
- Four-year degree in Engineering, or applicable experience
- Experience in lighting retrofit
- Experience in project scheduling, program management, data analysis, and energy calculations
- Proven ability to manage multiple larger and more complex project teams
