Job Title: Project Manager Job Description This position is responsible for the comprehensive execution of construction projects at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The role may involve supervising one or more project coordinators and requires ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The successful candidate will ensure project designs are suitable for solicitation and participate in the construction planning process by gathering field data and conceptualizing project scopes. Responsibilities
- Review engineering plans and specifications for compliance with federal and state regulations and applicable guidance.
- Prepare required documentation to ensure project designs are suitable for solicitation through the base contracting office.
- Participate in the construction planning process by investigating proposed projects, obtaining field data, and conceptualizing project scopes.
- Provide sketches and layouts supplemented by verbal or written information for drawing preparation.
- Prepare modification/alteration design specifications considering existing structures, utilities, and facilities.
- Apply practical knowledge of engineering methods, techniques, and historical project data to ensure project requirements are complete.
- Project management experience in construction.
- Proficiency in project engineering and construction management.
- PMP Certification.
- ABET Accredited Degree in Engineering or Construction.
- Experience with commercial or federal construction projects.
- Proficiency with estimating software.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Architecture, or Construction Science/Management.
- 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
- Facilities experience.
- Knowledge of design and construction.
- Background in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical engineering.
