Job Title: Project Manager – Architectural Metal ConstructionJob Description

This role oversees the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of architectural metal construction projects, including roofing, wall panels, and façade systems. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle and collaborates closely with clients, architects, engineers, fabricators, installers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple architectural metal roofing, wall panel, and façade projects from award through closeout, ensuring each project meets scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and deliverable tracking tools to keep all stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, providing clear communication and timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project kickoff, coordination, turnover, and closeout meetings to establish expectations, clarify roles, and ensure smooth transitions between project phases.
  • Coordinate engineering, fabrication, logistics, and installation activities to support successful project execution and alignment with design and performance requirements.
  • Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy and completeness, and ensure that project teams work from the latest approved information.
  • Identify project risks, schedule conflicts, and constructability issues early, and develop practical, effective solutions to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, cost tracking, billing, and change order negotiations, to maintain profitability and financial control.
  • Monitor project performance and progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to leadership and customers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Support material procurement and production scheduling to ensure critical materials and components are available to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, contract requirements, and safety expectations across all phases of the project.
  • Foster strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business, long-term partnerships, and a positive reputation in the architectural metal and building envelope market.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience within architectural metal roofing, wall panels, façade systems, cladding, or specialty building envelope products.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and tight schedules, including coordination with internal and external teams.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project, to manage schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and resolve issues effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of architectural metals, roofing, wall panels, façade systems, building envelope construction, and related materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or formal project management training.
  • Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes related to architectural metals and building envelope systems.
  • Experience working with ERP or MRP systems to support project planning, procurement, and production.
  • Prior experience coordinating with architects, façade consultants, and general contractors on complex building envelope projects.
  • Interest in and exposure to cutting-edge architectural design and building envelope technology.
  • Motivation to grow within a specialized and expanding industry, contributing to iconic and architecturally significant projects across North America.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, salaried position, typically working Monday through Friday with specific hours to be determined. The role is based on-site in a professional office environment at the company’s headquarters in Mesa, Arizona. The team operates in a collaborative and innovative setting, where project managers work closely with engineering, fabrication, and operations staff to deliver high-profile architectural metal roofing, wall panel, and façade projects. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
