Project Manager
Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description The primary role of the Project Manager is to provide planning, leadership, and direction in the implementation of conveyor integration projects. The Project Manager will lead a project team to drive deliverables that ensure the company's success. Depending on project size, the Project Manager may handle multiple projects simultaneously. The role involves managing customer specifications to deliver systems of the highest standards. Success in this role is defined by achieving the following essential criteria: Safety - Zero Injuries, On Time - Meeting or exceeding contract milestones, Quality - Provide specification compliant or better systems, and Financials- One or under budget. Responsibilities
- Setup projects consistently and ensure the project team exceeds customer expectations.
- Manage contract documents and convert them into a project plan for the team.
- Be financially responsible for profit/loss through monthly budget reporting.
- Demonstrate competence in risk mitigation, scheduling, and critical path planning.
- Conduct weekly project team meetings with internal and external customers.
- Manage customer acceptance and oversee project closeout.
- Handle customer requirements and provide closed-loop reporting to relevant parties.
- Complete monthly billing and cash flow analysis.
- Negotiate customer changes into the contract and budget.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and financials, as well as bid drawings to understand the scope of work.
- Ability to travel to job sites and manage projects both on paper and in person.
- Detail-oriented and organized; capable of performing work that is consistent, accurate, and self-verified.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
- Strong communicator (verbal and written) with attention to detail.
- Excellent collaborator and influencer.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing conveyor installation projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Proficient in MS Project.
- Ability to obtain facility security clearance as needed.
