Description Shift: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM The Technical Specialist is responsible for supporting the manufacturing and process development teams by managing the administrative aspects of tooling fabrication builds and ensuring technical documentation is properly formatted, published, and maintained within the Quality Management System (QMS). Fabrication Management & Quoting

  • Oversee and coordinate the administrative workflow for fabrication builds, including tracking progress, updating stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Prepare, review, and manage quotes for fabrication projects, working closely with engineering and procurement teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of builds, changes, and approvals to support traceability and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for build status updates and issue resolution.
2. Technical Specification & Documentation
  • Format, publish, and manage technical documents, specifications, and work instructions in accordance with company and industry standards.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly controlled and published within the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Collaborate with process engineers and subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and update technical content.
  • Support audits and compliance activities by ensuring documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
3. Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and documentation processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support project planning and execution.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for process enhancements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering administration, or technical documentation preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with QMS platforms and document control best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • Experience with CAD drawings and modeling a plus
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fairview, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
