Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing projects related to the design and build of complex material handling systems, primarily in the conveyors group. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction or engineering, with a strong emphasis on project management and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Interface with clients and manage project expectations.
- Coordinate and oversee project scheduling, ensuring timely completion.
- Organize and prioritize tasks effectively based on customer needs.
- Utilize software tools such as Excel, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD for project estimation and coordination.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong social skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Step into a Project Manager role, being proactive and taking initiative in managing tasks.
- Engage in critical thinking and problem-solving to overcome project challenges.
- Travel to job sites as required, with trips averaging one to two nights.
Essential Skills
- 4-7 years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Proficiency in construction management and mechanical engineering concepts.
- Experience with Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate thoughts clearly.
- Teachability and willingness to learn new processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering degree in any discipline (except IT) or a degree in construction management.
- Experience in the GC, subcontractor, or engineering background is preferred.
- Familiarity with material handling systems is a plus.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $57.70/hr.
