Sales Development Representative
Achilles is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our high-growth, fast-paced organization, working remotely in the USA. In this role, you will drive new-logo acquisition by sourcing, qualifying, and scheduling a targeted number of high-quality appointments for the sales team each week. You’ll champion the Achilles value proposition, cultivate mid- to long-term sales opportunities, and build a strong, sustainable pipeline. Success will be measured by activity levels, call quality, and conversion outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop pipeline through prospecting to secure appointments, establishing great relationships with new prospects and determine their needs.
- Understand and present how Achilles’ products and services can support potential customer needs, handling objections to provide them with a strong solution.
- Accurate maintenance of CRM to record sales activity.
- Maintain market intelligence to identify prospective customers, understand competitors and differentiators.
- Identify specific target accounts from agreed upon vertical markets.
- Follow Achilles’ commercial governance framework.
- Operate within the Achilles’ new sales and product plans to ensure profitability, deliverability and achievability.
What You’ll Bring
- You’ll be willing to make cold calls and qualify leads against set criteria.
- Tenacity and an ability to handle rejection.
- 5+ years’ experience and demonstrable track record with enterprise sales/business development managing opportunities with ACV values $250k +
- Ability to build relationships with prospects and truly understand their challenges and needs through complex questioning and needs analysis.
- Knowledge of lead generation, understanding market segments, presentation and telephone sales skills, research techniques, networking.
