Currently, this position is located in our project office in Sydney CBD, with occasional site visits. Once the project is fully operational, it will transition to a 14/7 roster-based arrangement out of our camp in Merotherie in the Central West Orana Region.

ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

As Plant Supervisor you will oversees the maintenance and repair of both mobile plant heavy machinery and fixed plant processing plants. This role requires technical expertise in diagnosing and rectifying faults, managing workshops, supervising technicians, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining equipment safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair:
Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing both mobile and fixed plant machinery.
Workshop Management:
Overseeing the operations of maintenance workshops, ensuring efficiency and service delivery.
Supervision:
Leading and managing a team of technicians responsible for plant maintenance.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensuring all safety features, operational controls, and warning devices are in place and used correctly.
Technical Operations:
Planning work activities, interpreting technical drawings, and utilizing precision tools for maintenance tasks.
Criteria for Selection
- Mechanical Trade or Engineering Qualification
- General Construction Induction
- 3+ years previous construction and plant experience
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
- Technical competency or detailed level of understanding in area that role is supervising
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing design documentation, understanding drawings, providing constructability review and implementing final design plans and build procedure
- Leading Hand experience and proven management experience of subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour
