About the Project
HumeLink is one of Australia's most significant energy infrastructure projects, delivering a new 500 kV transmission line to strengthen the NSW electricity network and support the transition to cleaner energy. The HumeLink East section is a critical component of this program, involving complex engineering, construction, and stakeholder coordination across multiple work fronts.
About the Role
We're seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Document Control Administrator to support project delivery by ensuring all project documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant with project standards. You'll be the backbone of information flow - maintaining structure, consistency, and traceability across a fast‑paced engineering and construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation in accordance with project and client requirements
- Maintain document registers, metadata, workflows, and version control
- Coordinate document reviews, approvals, and distribution to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental documentation standards
- Support project teams with document retrieval, filing, and system navigation
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and status updates on document control performance
- Liaise with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve document discrepancies
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive project information
About You:
- Experience in document control within construction, engineering, utilities, or major infrastructure
- Strong understanding of document management systems (e.g., Aconex, TeamBinder, ProjectWise, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
