ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Data Analyst - Sustainability to contribute their expertise within our Environmental & Sustainability team.

Your core role will be to establish and manage sustainability data collection systems including coordinating with the Project team to obtain the required inputs. In addition, you will contribute to the Infrastructure Sustainability Rating submissions and implementation of sustainability measures on site to drive excellent sustainability performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage sustainability data collection systems using software platforms including Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and construction specific compliance and reporting tools
  • Brief and coordinate with the Project team including sub-contractors to obtain the required information
  • Conduct assessments to identify opportunities and risks related to environmental, social, and economic impact.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainability into design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance indicators, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with sustainability requirements, regulations, and standards, providing guidance and support to project teams Preparation of Infrastructure Sustainability Rating submissions

Criteria for Selection

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science or a related field
  • Previous experience in sustainability roles, preferably within the infrastructure or construction industry
  • Candidates with previous experience as a data analyst or similar roles looking to move into the sustainability field are also welcomed to apply
  • Experience and skills in data management and PowerBI
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability reporting frameworks, sustainability policies, and green building codes relevant to infrastructure development
  • Experience conducting sustainability assessments such as life cycle analyses, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Familiarity with sustainability assessment tools (e.g., Infrastructure Sustainability Rating tool)
  • Certification or professional accreditation in sustainability (e.g., ISAP, GSAP, LEED AP, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional) is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports, presentations, and sustainability communications materials
  • Excellent organisational and data management skills
