ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
Job Description
Our Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is seeking Auto Electricians/Fitters/HD fitters to service and maintain our fleet of LV & HV vehicles, ancillary plant & facilities, as part of our Plant & Equipment team.
Successful candidates will be required to travel and live in Merotherie, NSW on a 14/7 roster, working up to 12 hour days.
Camp facilities include dry and wet mess, recreational activities room, covered sports field, outdoor sports field, gym, medical centre, BBQ areas, community room and an onsite convenience store, in addition to a competitive remuneration package in accordance with the Acciona Construction Australia NSW Transmission Enterprise Agreement 2024 – 2028.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, repairs, servicing and fault finding on light vehicles and mobile plant
- Carry out hydraulic/mechanical fault finding and repairs on earth moving equipment
- Service and maintain pumps associated with the water treatment plant and fuel farm
Required Skills and Competencies
- Minimum Cert III Automotive Technology and/or Trade License or equivalent
- Construction white card
- Minimum 4 years post apprenticeship experience
- Previous FIFO, mining, workshop or automotive industry experience
- Experience working on Toyota fleet vehicles is advantageous
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and organised work area
- Able to work independently and as part of a small, reliable team
- Strong communication ability
- Full C class Driver’s license and own vehicle
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
