ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

Our Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is currently seeking Assembly & Erection Riggers for the construction of 330kv and 500kv transmission lines.
Successful candidates will be required to travel to and live in Merotherie, NSW, working up to 12 hour days on a 2/1 roster.
Camp facilities include dry and wet mess, recreational activities room, covered sports field, outdoor sports field, gym, medical centre, BBQ areas, community room and an onsite convenience store, in addition to a competitive remuneration package in accordance with the Acciona Construction Australia NSW Transmission Enterprise Agreement 2024 – 2028.

Required Skills And Competencies
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- High Risk Work Licence (Rigger Intermediate, and/or Advanced)
- Construction White card
- Experience assembling transmission structures and erecting tower steel
- Experience Assisting Overhead Transmission Linesperson/s to assemble and erect Transmission hardware (and any associated crossarm)
- Full C class driver’s license at minimum and own vehicle
- Full Australian work rights without restrictions
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and safety standards
