The range of expertise includes foundation piling, basement construction, ground improvement, ground anchors, water infrastructure construction and more. As one of Australia’s largest and most diversely skilled engineering and construction contracting business, Geotech has the capabilities to be a single contractor to a broad spectrum of clients, delivering the full scope of works.

The Opportunity

Ensure the effective coordination and control of Engineering Works for a designated Project through activities of technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control based on ACCIONA standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational aspects of work crews to ensure the effective and efficient use of systems and processes involved with all phases of the project management model
  • Ensures the delegated scope of works meet or exceed the required performance targets in relation to time, cost and quality
  • Reviews the subcontractor’s construction program(s) and assists in identifying critical areas/risks
  • Identify and forecast risks and opportunities for the relevant scope of works
  • Tracks subcontractor resources daily and record accurately
  • Prepares cost plan/resources for daily cost planning meeting
  • Monitors resourcing against agreed budget tracker, report variances to Project Engineer

Required Skills And Competencies

  • Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or Similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience post gradaute in a project-based environment
  • Exposure to civil infrastructure
