The Senior ICT Engineer is a pivotal role, responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery and support of ICT systems across our organisation. This position is integral to achieving operational excellence, managing financial performance, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
You will lead strategic ICT planning, site mobilisation, project delivery, compliance, and the coordination of supplier and subcontractor relationships.

The Senior ICT Engineer is a pivotal role, responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery and support of ICT systems across our organisation. You will lead strategic ICT planning, site mobilisation, project delivery, compliance, and the coordination of supplier and subcontractor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Planning: Work closely with tendering teams to prepare accurate cost estimates and allocate budgets for major project sites.
- Network Design & Implementation: Design and deploy secure local and wide area networks for new site setups.
- Hardware & Software Maintenance: Configure and maintain site-based hardware, including communications equipment, specialist applications, and video conferencing systems.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex ICT issues promptly.
- Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Manage outsourced providers, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery of ICT services.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science (or related field); ITIL certification highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, WAN/LAN technologies, network security; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and server administration.
- Practical experience with VoIP systems, firewall configuration, VMware, Hyper-V, AWS cloud services, Citrix environments, and mobile device management; minimum 5 years’ ICT support experience in a complex, multi-site organisation.
- Proven ability in ICT planning, budgeting, and project management; comprehensive understanding of wide area networks and ICT service level management
