About the Project
HumeLink East involves expanding the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation and designing and constructing 230 km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This line will connect the Bannaby substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West, strengthening Australia's energy network and supporting the transition to renewable energy.

About the Opportunity
The Landowner and Community Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with landowners and community stakeholders across the project alignment. The role ensures landowners are well-informed, supported, and engaged throughout all phases of project planning and delivery. This includes proactive communication, issues management, and working closely with Place Managers to ensure access, cooperation, and positive project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of landowners across the alignment
  • Provide clear, timely, and accurate project updates to landowners
  • Maintain a strong understanding of landowner concerns, priorities, and expectations
  • Lead the coordination and resolution of denied access matters
  • Identify emerging issues early and work with internal teams to resolve them Provide local insights and feedback to inform engagement planning

About You

  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with landowners, regional communities, or stakeholder groups (during construction)
  • Ability to manage sensitive conversations and resolve issues constructively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team
  • Sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex or high-pressure situations
