HumeLink is one of Australia’s largest energy infrastructure projects, delivering critical transmission lines to connect renewable energy sources to the grid. For the East section of the project, we’re seeking a dedicated Competency Administrator to ensure workforce compliance and capability across all operations.
Role Overview
As the Competency Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining competency records for all project personnel. You’ll ensure that training, certifications, and qualifications meet project and regulatory requirements, supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update competency and training records in the project database.
- Verify qualifications, licenses, and certifications for all employees and contractors.
- Coordinate training schedules and liaise with training providers.
- Generate compliance reports for internal audits and client requirements.
- Support onboarding processes by ensuring competency documentation is complete.
- Assist in developing and implementing competency frameworks aligned with project standards.
- Previous experience in competency administration, training coordination, or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and competency management systems (e.g., SAP, INX, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external providers.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in construction or energy projects (preferred).
