As the Design Manager, you will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across civil engineering projects from concept to completion. Reporting to the Head of Design Management, you will oversee design delivery, ensure compliance with Australian standards, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to meet project objectives. - Oversee design delivery from concept through to completion
- Review and approve designs for safety, quality, and compliance with standards
- Collaborate with clients to confirm requirements and manage expectations
- Identify design risks early and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure legislative compliance
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across design processes
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or related field
- Proven experience in large-scale civil projects
- Expertise in water, energy, or transition line design
- Strong leadership and client management skills
- Excellent technical and report writing ability
