Electrician
Location: Waynesboro, VA (150-mile service area)
Job Type: Full-Time

Absolute Energy is a growing, dynamic solar and electrical company based in Waynesboro, VA. We specialize in solar panel installation, battery backup systems, EV charger installations, and residential/commercial electrical upgrades. As demand grows for renewable energy and modern electrical systems, we’re looking for a Licensed Electrician to join our close-knit team and help us power the future.
What You’ll Do:
Install and service solar PV systems, backup battery systems, and EV charging stations
Perform electrical panel upgrades and service upgrades
Troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial electrical systems
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Maintain NEC compliance and follow all safety protocols
Occasionally lead small crews and mentor apprentices
What We’re Looking For:
Valid Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician license (or ability to obtain)
Strong understanding of NEC code and electrical systems
Experience with solar PV systems or willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel within a 150-mile radius of Waynesboro
