ABB Electrification is seeking an Assembler to join our team in Florence, SC . In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and assembly of circuit breakers and their sub‐assemblies, as well as electromechanical, solid‐state, and microprocessor‐based protective relays, switches and various other electromechanical and electronic assemblies within the Electrification Division. Your work will be crucial in meeting production targets while adhering to established health and safety policies, as well as approved manufacturing systems, processes, and procedures. You will play an essential role in the order fulfillment cycle. Your Role Conduct all types of assembly work to produce a semi‐finished or final product, including packing where integrated with production lines. Support quality manufacturing goals, productivity, and on‐time shipment goals. Collaborate with team members to streamline assembly processes and enhance overall efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and best practices. Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly. Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge related to assembly techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications High School degree plus 2+ years of related experience in assembly, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Capable of reading and interpreting engineering configuration and wiring drawings. Ability to solder is preferred. Candidates must already have work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the United States.
