Aavashyak Technologies is building a new clean energy business focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), helping hotels, venues, and live events replace diesel generators with clean, silent battery power. This is a ground-floor opportunity: you will be our first technical hire, with the freedom to set standards, build systems, and shape how the business scales.

The Role

We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about cell chemistry and thrives in the field. You will own our energy storage fleet end to end: deploying and commissioning large-format BESS on site, running power and load during live operations, and resolving faults in real time. You will track SoC, SoH, voltage, and temperature at cell level, manage BMS configuration, cell balancing, and thermal management, and mitigate risks such as thermal runaway and deep discharge. You will also plan charging and logistics, lead preventive maintenance, support clients with installation and after-sales service, provide technical input on system sizing and proposals, and write the SOPs that will define how we operate at scale.

What You Bring

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Energy Engineering; energy storage specialisation preferred

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with lithium-ion battery systems or BESS

• Strong command of cell chemistry, particularly LFP and NMC, including degradation mechanisms and failure modes

• Working knowledge of BMS, inverters, PCS, three-phase power, and standards such as IEC 62619 and UL 9540A

• Composure under pressure, willingness to work evenings and weekends with travel across India, and strong English and Hindi

Experience powering events or hospitality operations is a plus.
