Solar Field Equipment Operator – Reflectivity Maintenance
Overview Join a crew maintaining one of the largest concentrated solar power facilities in North America. You'll operate water trucks and tractor-mounted cleaning systems to keep solar collectors performing at peak efficiency — critical work in the growing renewable energy sector.
What You'll Do
Operate water trucks and utility tractors with brush/spray systems to clean solar collector surfaces
Perform pre/post-shift equipment checks (fluids, tires, lights, pump seals)
Keep all equipment clean, fueled, and water-ready at end of each shift
Assist with site maintenance tasks as field conditions require
Schedule & Pay
~4 days/week, 12-hour shifts (day shift to start then rotating to night shift)
~ Temp-to-perm pathway for strong performers
What You Need
Valid California driver's license
Experience operating heavy equipment — water trucks, dump trucks, utility tractors, or trailers
HS diploma or equivalent
Comfortable working remotely, outdoors, in desert conditions
Bonus Points
Forklift, backhoe, front-end loader, or road grader experience
Familiarity with water pumping systems
Experience with scissor lifts, man baskets, or cranes
