We are currently seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Commercial Solar Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our solar products and services to both non-profit and commercial customers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of solar energy and contributing to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, and available incentives
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar based on customer needs and site conditions
  • Prepare and present customized and accurate solar proposals to customers
  • Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on industry trends, solar technology advancements, and government incentives to effectively communicate relevant information to customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process and beyond
  • Help advance our culture of creative innovation and exceptional service that keeps the customer first and continually pushes the boundaries of the possible

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction, or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of commercial sales experience required with a focus on renewable energy or solar products preferred
  • General understanding of electrical systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and Google Workspace
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to industry changes
  • Strong organizational skills and a creative, curious, self-driven work ethic
  • Demonstrated effectiveness completing projects and tasks with little supervision
  • Willingness to travel as needed
