Electoral Communications Organizer
350 New Hampshire’s mission is to stop the climate crisis by building grassroots support for a just transition to renewable energy and an end to fossil fuel use and expansion. We run grassroots campaigns to shut down fossil fuel infrastructure and bring 100% renewable energy to NH. Our political arm works to elect progressive climate champions and to hold elected officials accountable.
Position Type: Full time (35 hours/week) June-November (with possibility of extension)
Compensation: $28/hour (approximately 54k/year) plus healthcare, dental, vision, and generous paid time off
Location: New Hampshire (travel within the state expected)

Role:
350NH is looking for a community organizer to support our 2026 electoral plan through field organizing and communications tactics. This organizer will be responsible for organizing traditional media and social media engagement, door-to-door canvassing, and volunteer engagement.
Core Role Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers to do voter outreach through canvassing, local chapter organizing, and community events.
- Support paid and volunteer canvassers to turn people out to vote for climate champions.
- Support the creation, editing, and scheduling of social media posts and emails.
- Engage with voters online and offline by canvassing, tabling, posting, and disseminating information about the candidates running for office.
- Participate in staff meetings, strategy sessions, and coalition meetings to coordinate electoral organizing tactics.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 1-3 years of community or student organizing or other relevant work experience
- Commitment to climate justice, including willingness to expand your analysis and relationship to racial justice and equity
- Experience with social media platforms and culture
- Ability to organize and facilitate online or in person meetings with volunteers and community members
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage own workload; highly self-directed and driven
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Access to the internet
- Access to a car with a valid driver’s license
Skills & Qualifications Desired:
- Experience and willingness to speak with members of the media for interviews
- Experience with advertising
- Experience in grassroots organizing, community building, electoral politics, or a related role.
- Experience using google sheets to track and record data
